Success Stories
There are approximately 84,000 parolees currently under supervision in Texas. Employment is a significant component in helping ex-inmates get back on their feet and reducing their chances of recidivating. Reentry and Integration Division hosted 15 job fairs and hiring events in the 2018 fiscal year (and has hosted 55 job fairs since 2014) which resulted in positive interaction between employers/clients and employment being obtained. Our division and the Website For Work strives to bring clients and employers together to help bring individuals back into the work force and provide businesses with qualified, skilled employees.
