This program matches employers with qualified applicants that have been discharged from a TDCJ facility. While in prison, inmates gain work experience that is often applicable to jobs outside of prison. Some inmates receive vocational training and certification while some inmates earn Associate’s, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees.

Employment is an extremely important factor in helping an ex-inmate get back on their feet. TDCJ has full-time staff working hard to match employers with parolees that have the skills and experience they are looking for.
